About Epoxy Flooring Fort Myers

Epoxy Flooring Fort Myers coats concrete with resin systems: garages, lanais, pool decks, interior slabs, workshops and commercial floors in Fort Myers and the nearby Lee County communities. Our lineup covers epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic finishes, and the choice between them waits until we have walked your slab and tested it.

Here is why. Any coating depends on the concrete beneath it and on the weather the day it is applied. Fort Myers gets most of its rain in a few summer months, sits low beside the Caloosahatchee River and has plenty of garages that took on water in 2022. Sun pours in through open garage doors and lanai screens. Those conditions shape how we prep, which topcoat we pick and the hour we start rolling.

How a job runs

  • Visit and measure. We come to the property, measure each area and look at how you use it: cars, a boat trailer, a golf cart, a workbench or bare feet by the pool.
  • Test the slab. We check moisture coming up through the concrete and look for old paint, sealer, oil, cracks, spalling and signs of past flooding.
  • Put it in writing. The quote spells out the coating system, every layer, the surface prep, any repair work and the total. If the old coating comes off and reveals something new, you hear from us before any extra work happens.
  • Grind, do not etch. We diamond grind the surface so the coating grips clean, open concrete, then vacuum the dust.
  • Repair first. Cracks, chipped joints and pitting get patched and leveled smooth with the slab before any color is applied.
  • Coat in the right window. We watch the temperature, humidity and dew point and plan coats around the afternoon storms that are common here in summer.
  • Hand it back with clear times. You leave with a straight answer on foot traffic, when furniture and storage can return, and when the car can go back in.

Straight talk before any work

Not every slab should be coated right away. If a floor shows high moisture, active cracking or salt left behind by flood water, we say so and explain the options, which can include extra cleaning, a moisture-tolerant primer or waiting. If your home is in a condo or HOA community, ask the association what it needs to see before work starts, and we will give you the product details for that request.

Call (239) 785-2180 or send the form, tell us about the floor, and we will book a visit to see it in person.
